Hand-woven basket made of vegetable seaweed fibre. The inner lining is hand-woven from recycled materials (80% cotton\/20% polyester).
\nThis basket is hand-woven on a traditional Bangladeshi loom called a \"tant\" loom.
\nTraditional weaving gives the canvas a distinctive and unique handmade look
\nThis basket is part of the Handloom recycled project, a collaboration between Kimood and HandTouch, a member of the Bangladeshi fair trade organisation ECOTA.
\nIt helps to support the economies of families living in remote villages in Bangladesh, and in particular women's work, thus helping to prevent the abandonment of these villages.
\nInside the bag there is a label with information about the project, as well as a decoration space to add logos and\/or messages.<\/p>\n
Material: 100% vegetable fibres (basket), 70% cotton \/ 25% polyester (lining).<\/p>\n
